This is the SUM 21 pattern for the U.S. Powerball (or any 5-digit lottery game) sorted by TYPE .
The TYPES:
DOUBLES = D
DOUBLE-DOUBLE = DD
DOUBLE-TRIPLE = DT
SINGLES = S
TRIPLES = T
QUADS = Q
Data includes Double Play & Regular Drawings.
PB column = How many times the END STRING PATTERN has come out in PowerBall. If 0, this means that the particular string has not come out, YET.
This chart comprises known number strings that SUM to 24.
The sums are very useful if you grasp the following concepts:
✱ The SUMS between 20 - 26 are the MOST FREQUENT sums. They come out MORE OFTEN than the others.
✱ The numbers here are all listed from LOW to HIGH, although they can come out in any arrangement. Low to High is a way to categorize them uniquely (to refer to the string no matter the order).
EXAMPLE:
12468 = 21

At the time of this writing, it has come out 4 times (you can find it on this list). Find it and see that under the red pattern columns (the top 6 patterns), it has come out 1 out of those 4 times as below:

Let's say we wanted to create other pattern(s) with this string:
41628 - HLHL (pattern #1)
84612 - HLHL (pattern #1)
14268 - LHLL (pattern #2)
28146 - LHLL (pattern #2)
12846 - LLHL (pattern #4)
24618 - LLHL (pattern #4)
As you can see, there are many patterns possible. I list the top 6 (red header columns) as these are the HIGHEST FREQUENCY, in that order.

✱ 5-single digits have the ability to encompass more patterns. 5-single digits (as you can see from the chart) come in more frequently in the top 6 HIGH-LOW categories than others...
✱There are many more DOUBLES than SINGLES.
Once you pick an END NUMBER PATTERN, pair it with a DECIMAL pattern.

Let's go back to our example: 12468, say we want to play it 41628 (HLHL):
Let's play it with the #1 HIGHEST FREQUENCY Decimal: 10 - 20 - 30 - 50 - 60
41628
The result would be: 14-21-36-52-68
Let's pick another DECIMAL:
1-20-30-40-50
41628
The result would be: 4-21-36-42-58
As you can see there are many combinations, but, streamlining a set of numbers by combining higher frequency outcomes is possible. I leave the strategy to you and how you use the data on this site. Everyone has their own insights.
Remember, ANY combination can come out in any draw.
My suggestion is to pick a string of numbers and keep playing the string. You can play it with different DECIMAL patterns.
